Dog DNA Test

Wecome. I am Officer Ray of Animal Control **. Let me tell you about a case that I recently had that involved Dogs and Dog DNA Test.

A while back I was assigned Cases that involved animals. I thought it was funny that they call me Dog Catcher Ray. But, I didn’t mind because I am an animal lover. There was one Case that stands out. Not only because it was a bad situation’ but, it openned my eyes to the importance of Dog DNA Test. It was Case Number 19-221-01.

Case Number 19-221-01

Case Number 19-221-01 involved the untimely death of puppy named Pepper. Pepper was a cute German Shepherd puppy that was bought by the Jones family. The Sellar had insured the Jones that the puppy was in excellent Health and never had any problems with any of his puppies.

Hence, the Jones purchased the Pepper and welcomed him into their home. The puppy was accepted and loved by all the members of the family. As Pepper grew there seemed to be a problem with him standing and getting around. The family was concerned and took Pepper to the Vet to find out what was the matter. The Vet determined that Pepper had Alexndar disease. Consequently, Alexander disease is a rare, fatal neurological disease, causing progressive weakness in all limbs. Nonetheless, Pepper didn’t last very long after that and had to be put down. The Jones were heart broken and felt that the Seller should have known about the disease and informed them of such. Subsequently, I was brought into the situation when fighting between the Seller and Buyer enused.

It was not my job to determine who was right and who was wrong in the situation. Therefore, I sat them both down and explained the importance of have given a Dog DNA Test before purchasing a dog from a Breeder. The Alexndar disease would have shown up and saved the family a lot of grieve. I shared my Dog DNA Testing Notes with them.
