Hello. I am Officer Ray of Animal Control **. Let me tell you about a Case I had involving a family and there wandering Pet Dog and a Wireless Pet Fence that solved the problem.
The Taylor family were new to their neighborhood and had grown Golden Retriever named Cupcake. The house they lived in had a large fenced in backyard. So, containment of Cupcake should not be a problem. The problem was that Cupcake would try to run out the front when anyone came over to visit. They were trying to break her of that bad habit. But, occansionally Cupcake would get by them and out the front door she went. Usually she would stop, but if there was something to chase, she was off to the races. That is when I got called to to Retrieve the Retriever.
Cupcake was developing a long rapsheet. Thank goodness the Taylors had a GPS Dog Collar on Cupcake. So it was a matter of tracking her down. You wouldn’t believe some the places that I found her, but that is another interesting story altogether.
The Taylors needed someway to contain Cupcake when she made a break for it. They didn’t want to fence in the front yard. A fenced in front yard would be unsightly and Openning and closing gates would be a pain. I made a suggestion to look into an invisable Wireless Pet Fence. I came across that solution on another Case and I shared my Notes on Wireless Pet Fences with them.
Notes on Wireless Pet Fences
The Search of the Internet found a fantastic Wireless Pet Fence.
- Adjustable Range – Has a circular range of up to 1/2 acres from the placement of the portable indoor transmitter.
- No Digging to Bury Wires – The wireless boundary allows you to create a secure barrier without the time or hassle of burying wires.
- Portable – portable system is terrific for camping, vacation homes, or anywhere you travel with access to an electric outlet.
- Waterproof Collar – The waterproof collar comfortably fits small, medium, and large pets.
- Long Battery Life – The collar battery lasts up to 2 months before needing to be recharged.
The Taylors installed the Wireless Pet Fence and with a little training, Cupcake’s wandering days were over.
